We are a growing, mission-driven seafood delivery and fish-market business, located in the Edgewater community. We are committed to providing superior fresh seafood and maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability of all sorts—from traceability to recycling.

Chef’s responsibilities:

Prepare a variety of seafood dishes (such as soups, burgers, spreads) for our grab-and-go cases.

Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, quality, and freshness in all seafood preparation.

Keep track of seafood inventory to maintain supplies of house-made products.

Develop creative and delicious recipes that showcase our seafood.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including cleaning your work tools and devices and your work area, as well as helping clean common areas, doing dishes as needed.

Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and knowledgeable demeanor, as well as preparation suggestions, if requested.

Qualifications:

Food safety and sanitation certification.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen setting.

A passion for seafood and a desire to create innovative dishes.

Ability to identify seafood, experience working with fresh seafood, including cleaning, filleting, and understanding of various cooking methods.

Understanding and practicing the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Strong understanding of safe food-handling practices and sanitation procedures.

Excellent knife skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
