Since its inception, Edgewater Artist In Motion (EAIM) has attracted a wealth of talented people, and due to the strength of our highly talented core of volunteers, they have been able to forge ahead with resilience in the pursuit of their goals: 1) To enhance Edgewater’s appeal as a vibrant, pedestrian friendly, commercial district; 2) to assist existing businesses and attract new business; 3) to place original artwork in vacant properties and other commercial locations; 4) to give artists the opportunity to show their creations and contribute to the development of the community; 5) to establish Edgewater as one of the premier artistic destinations in Chicago.
